Todd and Cynthia met in West Palm Beach, FL where they worked together building vintage racing Porsches, Turbo Street Porsches and just plain fun Porsches. In the early 90’s they moved to Northern California to continue working in the Porsche industry. Together they built a shop right at home in their barn! They outfitted their 25×75′ slab with areas for installing, machining, engine work, and a dyno for testing, thus Protomotive was born!

Welcome to the 1,000HP Protomotive Porsche 911 Turbo! After flying down to Arkansas, we found a few of these iconic German sports cars in the place you'd least expect to find them. Protomotive has been tuning Porsches since 1984, and with that comes a long list of notable builds that are driving worldwide, still to this day. Everything from remote tuning to complete 1250+ HP engine builds and everything in between. This has got to be some of the most fun I've ever had behind the wheel of a sports car. Enjoy!
