Syracuse, NY— February 1, 2020 — Today, Vetted Tech Inc. announced the appointment of Josh Weaver as Technical Director, at the additive manufacturing firm that delivers high performance components that simply can’t be manufactured through traditional means.  Vetted Tech’s use of advanced metals (Titanium), superalloys (Inco 718), high-strength steels (17-4PH) as well as carbon fiber and Kevlar reinforced polymers in additive manufacturing/3D printing further expands innovative capabilities in the aerospace, automotive, DoD, DoE, and medical markets.

Josh embodies the Veteran Enabled Transition Technology Enabled Design philosophy that is the core of Vetted Tech’s business.  He is a US Army veteran having proudly served two tours in Afghanistan as an Airborne Operations Engineer.  Josh has previously held positions with NYSDOT, Accenture, Time Warner Cable, and National Grid where lastly, he managed the technical infrastructure of a multi-billion-dollar collection portfolio.  He holds a B.S. degree in Civil Engineering from Syracuse University with an FE certification and is a graduate of Markforged Metal Additive Manufacturing University.
