OBI 3.4.3 NEW FEATURES

Alma Automotive presents the new features of its combustion analysis system OBI.
The improvements focused mainly on the file formats and user interface:
- Record in one file format “aad” (alma automotive data) instead of bin and tdms
- Automatic conversion into other file formats in time based or angle based data: tdms (excel compatible with a free plug in), .avl (ifile compatible), .dat, .mf4, .mat
- Analog signal monitor: consisting of a pop-up viewer useful to check signal range and values when the system is in timeout
- Flexible file nomenclature: the current name consists of data, time and a comment. The future format will have the option to add a recurring comment, the first recorded value of a specific variable and a specific comment as shown below:
Old Nomenclature: yymmdd_hhmmss
Current Nomenclature: yymmdd_hhmmss_RComment_VariableValue_SComment
- Indicated torque available on XCP and CAN protocols
- Multiplexed indicating results on channel 0 of XCP data
- The OBI 3.4.3 release will be available on the Alma Automotive web site in march.
