Darton announces the introduction of a new sleeve kit for the GM™ world motor, the ECOTEC ™. The new kit was based on a cooperative effort between Lingenfelter Performance Engineering (LPE) and Darton. LPE is world renown for specialty engine performance upgrades and retrofits in popular street and strip cars.

Darton pioneered the concept of incorporating "closed deck solutions" for open deck blocks such as many of the import motors and now the ECOTEC ™. Darton has delivered hundreds of closed deck "Pro Sleeve Kits" for most of the Honda series engines which are routinely performingin 600-800 horsepower levels with wide open throttle at events like endurance off road racing.
