While Aviaid Oil Systems is known for its dry and wet sump oil pumps, oil pans and sump tanks, the Chatsworth, California-based company also manufactures a wide range of accessories that are essential to finishing off the installation of most any vehicle’s lubrication system.

Aviaid offers standard remote oil filter mounts in three different configurations; two of which incorporate a pressure regulator. In addition to the billet aluminum spin-on mounts that can accommodate 3”, 3-5/8” or 4-1/2” filters, for vintage applications Aviaid offers the original Traco cast aluminum SBC filter mounts. Remote mounting is facilitated through use of special adapters that attach to the engine block. They can also be em-ployed to incorporate an oil cooler.

The company makes in-line filters equipped with AN-6, AN-8, AN-10, AN-12 or AN-16 fittings. Also available are stainless steel mesh filter elements designed for use with AN-12 female oil pan bungs, and available with AN-8, AN-10 or AN-12 male fittings.

Oil pressure can be controlled by means of remote regulators that come with a variety of spring options; in either a standard in/out configuration (AN-8, AN-10 and AN-12) or with the addition of either an O-ring port on the back for direct attachment to a valve cover, oil tank or the pan, or with a standard female AN port for running a line.
