I think this could possibly one of everyone’s favourite cars…The mighty 10 litre V8 supercharged Dodge Charger... This Fast & Furious exact replica was running 1500 BHP and has exceptional ‘like for like’ qualities to the original. The JP exhausts team were asked to work on this beast with the given requirements of dual sound (Loud & Quiet options) while improving overall power. This would mean that the JP exhaust team would have to design 2 exhausts into 1, while incorporating a switchable valve to control everything.

The JP exhaust team set about this task and designed the exhaust to incorporate 2 exhaust valves (one for each side). This would also require a switch on the dashboard allowing the driver to flick between exhausts systems simultaneously depending on the driver mood. The exhaust was made up of twin 3.5” pipework (yes - that is huge!) to cope with the power, and finally designing the quiet exhaust setup exiting the rear and the louder exhaust setup exiting the side sills.
